Migrating Autocomplete lists: mfcmapi saves file as .XML not .MSG

Migrating Outlook 2016 autocomplete lists on Win10 to Outlook Classic on Win11. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/import-or-copy-the-autocomplete-list-to-another-computer-83558574-20dc-4c94-a531-25a42ec8e8f0 Step 1:10 states to select MSG file for export.

However, mfcmapi doesn't offer that file type as an option. The only option offered is .XML.

Following Step 2:10-12 to import the file, mfcmapi offers (3) file options for import: "From EML", "From MSG", and "From TNEF".

Attempting to import the exported .XML file results in an error: "Error:
