Can OpenAIAssistantAgent Be Used with Swarm?

Hello,

I’m currently exploring the integration of OpenAIAssistantAgent with Swarm. I’d like to know if it is currently possible to use OpenAIAssistantAgent within a Swarm setup.

If it is not yet supported, is there any plan to enable this integration in the future?

Any insights or roadmap details would be greatly appreciated.

It is not yet supported because it is not able to create HandoffMessage, however, to support it should be easy, just follow the same implementation as in AssistantAgent when it comes to creating handoff tools, and update the implementation of OpenAIAssistantAgent.
