[Bug]: Pen color is not persisted

Description

When drawing I would like the pen to remember the last color I used and default to that.

Current Behavior

The pen has reset to the default red color

Expected Behavior

I expect the pen to default to the last color used so I don't need to change it every time.

This is the behavior of the Windows version of ZoomIt and I have come to really appreciate it maintaining my pen color.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start drawing in any mode
2. Change the pen color to a different color (I use g)
3. Stop the drawing session
4. Start a new drawing session
