Description of the new feature / enhancement

It would be incredibly useful to have an indicator in the taskbar showing the name of the current desktop. I have 5 desktops going, and I would like to be able to glance to see which one I'm on. The desktop number (1-5) would NOT be sufficient, as this changes for me. The name would be perfect.

Scenario when this would be used?

All the time, every day as I work.
