This issue has been migrated a new MRTK repository, and the status of this issue will now be tracked at the following location:

Overview

We should port the "multi-user capablities" tutorial to MRTK3. This tutorial can be found at
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/develop/unity/tutorials/mr-learning-sharing-01.

Details

This tutorial demonstrates how a user can build a collaborative application using ASA and Photon. Using this tutorial, a developer will learn the following:

  • Learn how to create a PUN app and connect your Unity project to it
  • Learn how to connect multiple users in a shared experience
  • Learn how to share the object movements with other users

Additional Context

A recent user of this tutorial found a potential bug in the sample. We should also verify that this issue is resolved when porting to MRTK3
