  • Upgraded projects to compile against the 14393 SDK
  • Added support for new Pipeline Libraries feature in the D3D12PipelineStateCache sample
  • Added support for Root Signature 1.1 in relevant samples
    • NOTE: the updated d3dx12.h references the new D3D12 export for versioned root signature serialization which requires D3D12 projects to delay load d3d12.dll if they want to run on earlier versions of Windows 10 (e.g. 10240 or 10586)
  • Updated the D3D12Fullscreen sample to demonstrate resolution scaling in fullscreen windowed mode

Aligning version tags for future releases with the SDK/OS releases. This is the final release for SDK/OS version 10.0.10586. Sync to this tag to develop against the 10586 SDK. Future releases will be based on the Windows 10 Anniversary Update SDK/OS version (10.0.14393).

Besides that, this release just contains bug fixes for existing samples and libraries.
