Get subscriptor email from Subscriptions API

Subscriptions search endpoint returns payer_id, payer_first_name, and payer_last_name:

Is there a way to also get the payer email? I tried Customers API with payer_id but it returns customer not found. It can be seen in the merchant portal under /subscription-plans/subscriptor-details
