HomeAssistant is probably the leading open-source home automation platform out there.

It would be amazing if doors, interlocks, and any other devices could be triggered via an integration with Home Assistant (HA) so that control can be centralised into the same platform as lights etc.

Describe the solution you'd like
Initially, a one-way communication between MM and HA - an interlock or door is opened, unlocked, closed, or locked and a message is sent to HA to carry out the appropriate action.
