would it be possible to add a default dark mode (something like in the reader mode of Firefox) when viewing an article?

Are you using OSX Dark Mode? It can be detected with simple CSS media query. That would prevent adding extra toggles or switches.

Nope, I am on Win10. using FF' dark theme.
Will implementing optional styles, like mentioned in #7 solve this issue, or you mean that dark mode should be detected by style?
