It's true "Comment" is a common requirement for a blog service, but we also have to admit that "comment" make the system more complicated, for this software on technically, also for the blogger mentally.

Personally I like having interactions with the readers, getting feedbacks from the blog visitors is always feeling good, if there's light (technically and mentally) way to enable the "Comment", I would second on it.

I'm unsure about enabling comments on the blog. Authors sharing email addresses for communication could be a less chaotic option.

Comments on "thoughts" should be avoided to distinguish it from X/weibo. For in-depth reasons, refer to this: #5 (comment)
