Chamfers and fillets are for "rounded" corners. These are very important for good enclosure designs.

When making an enclosure, one should be able to choose a chamfer or fillet and its radius for each plane (e.g., only x-y).

Sorry,
I mean for me the user scenarion is: user generates enclosure and after what he makes some additional modeling like add cable holders, add screws, etc. Operation of adding fillets or chamfers in FreeCAD is rather simple - just select edges and press tool buttons. I don't know how I simpify this operation in enclosure generator. May be you have some ideas.
