From https://blog.darksky.net/

What happens to our existing products?
...
Our API service for existing customers is not changing today, but we will no longer accept new signups. The API will continue to function through the end of 2021.

Weather Underground support still works great as of 2020-04-01 :)

I'm curious what they mean by:

The website will remain active beyond that time in support of API and iOS App customers.

If the web interface is indeed still active, I could implement a web scraper to continue support for DarkSky.

I'll wait for any specific requests for DarkSky support before implementing that, as I'm partial to Weather Underground's forecasts.

Website

Weather forecasts, maps, and embeds will continue until July 1, 2020. The website will remain active beyond that time in support of API and iOS App customers.

So after july this year, API (unlike website) will work until end 2021.

Is the WU API still working for everyone?
Last successful update was September 29th for me.

Hey @PowerScissor I just took a look, weather updates are indeed failing. It doesn't seem to be a WU issue but rather a failure of the reverse geocoder (which converts coordinates into a city name). I've opened an issue about it in #41
