It would be valuable to know:

  • which clicks to piwik.org are clicked
  • which ones are most clicked
  • on which report / page, do users most click on given link?

Could we track outlinks to *.piwik.org domains?

Notes

  • often the clicks actually link to a local URL: http://demo.piwik.org/index.php?module=Proxy&action=redirect&url=http://piwik.org/faq/ therefore we need to hook into this redirect action I guess?
  • maybe we only need to track those redirect and don't need to track outlinks in JS
