The 5" Turing screen has a Micro SD card slot, used by the original software to play video or switch between images quicker than the USB interface allows.
Is there a way to access that card? E.g. putting "background.png" there instead of on the computer.
I'd like to experiment with quickly switching images to create some kind of smooth animation. Or even playing low frame rate video.
