Hi Mark! I'm probably missing something obvious, but is there a way to apply a timewarp effect on a clip that I'm adding to a sequence AAF? The idea is that I would I could define a linear speed change and that it would show up as an avid effect applied to the clip on the avid timeline.
Thanks!

Its possible, but could be tricky to get right. The best way is to output a AAF from Media Composer with a retime on it and match the same structure. I have helper functions to interpolate the retime curves in misc.py and you might want to take a look at test_retime.py
You might want to also checkout this file from another of my projects avb2aaf.py. That file registers most of the definitions needed for create retimes.
thanks for the info mark! I'll start with your suggestions and see where I get. In terms of evaluating an AAF from Media Composer, is the best way to do this to look at it with the aaftreemodel script?
