How can I get a http server to work with Claude Desktop

I am attempting to set up code for Claude Desktop to communicate with a remote HTTP server I configured. I am using a custom proxy, which I believe is the source of the problem because clients connecting directly to the sample implementation have no issues.
Are there any opensoruce proxies that will work.

I am working on a remote system. Have not been able to figure how to get a proxy to work.
I use ngrok to see if my server is working for remote. It works.
Any suggestions on how to have Claude Desktop call a proxy to call my local application much appreciated.
I do understand that I can change my server to stdio. This is going to be a network applicaitons.
