CNC milling machine with 3-axis of freedom.

The researchable area should be suitable for the joint size that you want to fabricate.

CNC-machine brands and models from which somebody has successfully fabricated joints with the Tsugite app:

  • Prospectools (model?)
  • Roland (model?)
  • Shopbot Handibot (verison?)

CNC-machines with which fabrication was unsuccessful

  • Carbide 3d (reason: fabricated geometry inaccurate, so the joint did not fit).

#Settings Make the correct settings in the interface to match your machine setup and the dimensions of your wood material.

Fabrication parameters

File format

From the Tsugite app you can export three types of file formats:

  • *.gcode
  • *.nc
  • *.sbp

Chose the one that works for your machine. Some examples are given below.

  • Roland machine: nc-code
  • Prospec tools: gcode
  • Shopbot: sbp
