Use case

icloud-drive is a great facility, but it’s difficult/impossible to understand how its working, what progress has been made etc.

Describe the solution you'd like

I’d love to see a simple UI that shows you key information about your icloud account, the number of files and photos you have with Apple, what number is currently downloaded, what the sync status is - plus any errors observations from the logs etc.

Describe alternatives you've considered

If a UI is not possible, then something more descriptive/helpful periodically posted to the logs would be something.
