kcmldapmanager is one utility in a suite of tools that provides Microsoft Active Directory-style SSO and management capabilities, but built entirely on standard, open-source, compatible software such as OpenLDAP and Kerberos. As such, it runs primarily on *NIX systems such as Linux, and does not require Microsoft products such as Windows to operate. The resulting stack provides enterprise-class features such as multi-master replication, master-slave replication and failover, Smart Card logon, and much more, all with an emphasis on ease of use in a friendly point+click environment.
