How do I add cover entity control in the M5Tab5 Tab5 Home Assistant HMI example?

Well, I think mainly there are three parts to integrate, pretty much like when we originally started the RGB light and climate entity.

The first part is to know the actions your entities supported, and how you can control it. Maybe like:

cover:
  - platform: ...
    device_class: garage


on_...:
  then:
    - cover.open: cover_1
...

Then, I want to create some UI elements, like a few lvgl buttons, to control these actions

lvgl:
...
# Example toggle button with image:
- button:
    id: btn_id
    checkable: true
    widgets:
      - label:
            id: cover_open_btn
            text: "Open"

   # Example trigger:
    ...
    on_value:
      then:
        - logger.log:
            format: "Cover Open Button checked state: %d"
            args: [ x ]
        - cover.open: cover_1

The last part is optional but if you have some sensors that can monitor the cover status, you can update these sensor readings to your lvgl UI:

     id: cover_status
     ...
     on_value:
       - lvgl.label.update:
          ...
