Hey, I love the App :-)

But would be happy if one of the following ideas could be considered.
Just FYI: Mac is set to German, therefore some UI terms or names could be incorrect.

  1. Option to define, that the width for all Previews should be equal.

The Window previews can vary in size when using AltTab. An option to say: "All Preview Windows have same Width" would be nice. The Reason is that it would be easier to go down / up when a lot of applications are open.

When the Previews don't have the same width the behavior can be strange when pressing up or down arrow, because you never know will it select the preview that's on the left or right in the row below under the currently selected preview.

When every row has for example 4 Applications which have the same width users would always know which application gets selected when pressing down or up arrow.

My workaround was to set the minimum and maximum preview width in row to the same percentage. If you would implement such a functionality, it would still be possible to define the minimum and maximum preview width so Previews would still adapt in width based on the amount of applications shown in AltTab.

  1. When using AltTab and pressing Q to close applications, it would be nice if AltTab would ask for confirmation before closing an application with instances on multiple virtual desktops.

A checkbox to enable the feature like "Ask for Confirmation when closing an application that is open on multiple virtual Desktops" could be used to enable this option without affecting other users.

  1. Option to define for applications to use close window (w) instead of exit app (q). And if there's no active window anymore to close the app.

When working with documents (e.g. Word), it's sometimes bad to run CMD+Q on all windows. Reason: Word only asks once for all open documents if you want to save them or discard the changes.

Another example where exiting app is bad: WhatsApp, when I still want to receive messages.

It would be nice to have the possibility to say for specific commands that the q command to close applications should execute the w command while going through applications with AltTab.

It could be much effort to implement something like this or confusing for users. Maybe disabling some commands for specific apps could be easy to implement in the blacklist.

The alternative for me would be to map 'Q' to close window instead of app in AltTab, but this would leave behind a mess if applications without active windows are not exited.

The current approach has the advantage of being compact. We prefer this approach for now. Grid-like design may be offered in the future, but there are no plans today. See #351

When using AltTab and pressing Q to close applications, it would be nice if AltTab would ask for confirmation before closing an application with instances on multiple virtual desktops.

There is no plan to add this at the moment. It seems a bit niche unfortunately.

Option to define for applications to use close window (w) instead of exit app (q). And if there's no active window anymore to close the app.

I think what this would require is to have a new shortcut "Close all windows". This way we can (1) close 1 window, (2) quit the app, and (3) close all windows from the app, in 1 shortcut. However, I'm afraid it's a bit niche. The current workaround is to close windows one by one, with the shortcut or with the mouse click on the icon, or with the mouse middle-click on the whole thumbnail.

Thank you
