How to see the output of a function

I want to apply a time-dependent load on the boundary which I do using the following function for sin(πt) :

def dynamic_load (x):
    return tf.sin(np.pi*x[:, 1:2])

Is the above function correct?
The results are not what I want. How can I see the output of this function?

I better ask: How to see the output of x[:, 1:2]?

With the simple "print" command, the output of this function cannot be seen.
