Really glad to see this, I've been meaning to build something myself for a while to replace https://github.com/leth/PHP-IPAddress (which I use heavily today) and it looks like you're well on the way.

Just wondered if you have any plans to include functionality similar to what exists in the above package already - for example, splitting and merging subnets. Also happy to try to contribute!

Merging subnets is not planned, yet but might be an interesting feature. Feel welcomed to contribute.

Support for wrapping MAC and ip v4 into ip v6 prefixes is most likely the next feature we're going to add.
