Restoring subscriptions

Hey there, happy Villus user here :) using subscriptions via websockets.
I'm wondering how Villus handles situations after a websockets connection has been lost and reconnected - will all subscriptions be renewed or dropped?
Are there any best practices or known issues to keep in mind for web apps that might fall asleep in a browser tab, should they just do a hard reload?
