How to save the pruned model?

Hi, i am not able to save the pruned model for further evaluation. I am using the --save_model argument, which I found in the main.py script but this is saving the original model not the pruned one. I double-checked this by running certain evaluations running on both models which have exactly the same results, which would not be expected if on of them would be pruned.
What I am doing wrong or ist there an conceptional misunderstanding? Thanks for your help.
