Sorry if I break the accepted style of communication on this forum - I'm a simple man :)

Dear llyasviel! In the last update you deprived many people of the possibility to use Flux Realistic - to create quite high quality pictures. The lack of Flux Realistic sends me personally to wander around free online services again....

I understand your decision was due to some users' concerns about their network security. Some here have hinted that this whole topic was brought up by paranoid people - but it's not for me to judge that.

Dear llyasviel! Could you please show some human generosity?

Please bring back Flux Realistic in the next update. And for those who are concerned about their safety, post a separate update that they can individually download and relieve their worries. After all, you can't penalize everyone at once because of individuals.

This thread #2554 gave advice on how to solve the problem, but the trouble is that some people don't understand much about programming and code. I understand almost nothing (my brain is organized too humanitarian) and for me all this is an insoluble task.

Once again, I appeal to your generosity. Do not penalize others.

I apologize for the English (I wrote with the help of DeepL).

Maybe I'm missing some crucial information, but can't you just run git checkout f533078 (the last commit before the change), and get the samplers back?

I already provided all the “important and embarrassing information about myself” - that I understand nothing about programming and code.

You wrote: can't you just run git checkout f533078 (the last commit before the change)?

I don't even understand what you wrote (if anything, I'm 62 years old - brains from the 20th century, almost from the Paleozoic era). Where to run to? What to do? How to launch? Be indulgent - help an elderly person. Explain in detail.

P.S.

turned on the git-cmd terminal.

C:\Program Files\Git>git checkout f533078

I think you have to do it in your forge directory

I might recommend watching some youtube tutorials, I'm not as old as you but I'm also not a developer either and don't know how to tinker under the hood, however, usually theres someone smarter than me that's made a tutorial for almost everything

the thing is that English is not my native language - so instructional videos don't teach me anything :), unless of course we are talking about cooking, for example.

Correct idea, overall!
As MassiveTart explained: Navigate to the Forge main folder and run this command there, this is in the case you installed forge originally using the git clone command.
If you installed Forge from one of the downloadable packages (from https://github.com/lllyasviel/stable-diffusion-webui-forge#installing-forge), you will need to use the folder in there called webui (to make sure- the webui-user.bat file is there). Not in the folder that contains the Run and Update files.

I don't know how future updates will look like and we will probably need a more permanent solution if future updates still kill the Realistic samplers. But for now as a quick solution this command that takes us one step back is good enough in my opinion. That's why I hate auto-updates, no good control over what we need.

HMRMike, did as you said and everything came back! A huge human thank you! I am happy - thank you again! I make ebook covers for my friends and with Flux Realistic (2x Slow) I had the best results. And update I will never click again - now I have a bad experience.

MassiveTart also thank you so much!

people already provided many answers to get the flux realistic samplers back. the issue just below this one "missing flux realistic" no need to be a google dev coder to understand and reverted those changes.

llyasviel didn't remove it. One of the devs that he brought on to help with the project approved the removal. They pretend that ComfyUI doesn't borrow code from other projects without credit. llyasviel has checked out and understandably so. I would not want to participate in this field anymore if i were them either.

This project is being gutted and sabotaged from within now. It's nefarious. Sad day for FOSS.

The troll who requested this change has no real github history other than a blank project he created called antidote nightshade which seems to include a link to a pdf file, Its clearly a troll account yet some jannie pushed the request through anyway. I hope Illyasviel sees this and undos the change and remove whatever dummy accepted the commit.

The dudes account is literally named after an some bridge troll from an old game series called touhou.

Here is his only project https://github.com/parsee-mizuhashi/nightshade-antidote

Here is what appears to be the real version of said project: https://github.com/RichardAragon/NightshadeAntidote

I just find it weird that someone with no real github history would have their changes added to such a massive project. The owner of WebUI Forge needs to remove whatever devs approved this change before webui is unusable from obvious sabotage.

The prompt:
A fantastical, high-resolution steampunk scene featuring a Coca Cola can transformed into a intricate, clockwork masterpiece, with visible gears, copper pipes, and internal mechanisms intricately woven together in a mesmerizing dance of industrial elegance. The can's surface is adorned with a delicate latticework of brass filigree, while a complex system of pulleys, levers, and cogs animates the can's shape, as if it were a living, breathing entity. In the background, a kaleidoscope of neon lights swirls and pulsates, casting an ethereal glow over the entire scene. The atmosphere is one of nostalgia and wonder, as if the very fabric of time itself had been warped and distorted to reveal a hidden world of steampunk magic. The image is rendered in stunning 8K resolution, with every detail meticulously crafted to transport the viewer to a realm of pure imagination and awe. The Coca Cola can, once a humble beverage container, has been reborn as a testament to human ingenuity and creativity, a shining beacon of innovation in a world of wonder and discovery.

Many thanks to you as well, although the problem has already been helped me to solve. I will save your command in case I need it in the future.

I'm glad I could help my friend
When you want to go back to using the version that has the Flux Realistic sampler, just use this command line in your webui prompt which will return all the files from the commit prior to the one in which the Realistic sampler was removed.

that command does indeed work but its unacceptable that webui forge has been co-opted by comfyui concrern trolls. The owner of this project needs to remove all of the developers involved in approving this disgusting commit and they need to issue an apology for their failure to wrangle the troll devs.

to create quite high quality pictures

Well... You don't need Flux Realistic for that. In my testing it isn't really better than popular Euler+Simple/Beta for example; I personally go with DEIS+DDIM if I want human realism, but still looking for the Holy Grail too. Each prompt gives different results. :P

After a time away, just updated via ,bat, opened and saw Flux (Forge Realistic) was gone.
On Win10.
Right click in webui and nothing. (also a programmer noob)
DL this and 64bit win-installer > https://git-scm.com/downloads/win
right click - picked Bashgit
after bit of trying, typed:
$ git switch -c f533078
and Flux is back.

Thanks to both who raised issue and provided solution.
For my img2img, Flux is faster and prefer the result more.
Please make sure this remain available somehow. Thanks.
