Journal inaccessible with xOBSE when PC in always run mode

When I run the game with xOBSE AND if my character is toggled to the always run mode, my journal is inaccessible. I press TAB and nothing happens, still the case if I remap either run and/or always run buttons. This happens also if I have only the Oblivion.esm active and run the game through xOBSE. I tried versions 22.9 and 22.10. Anyone else having this?
