How to access live-codes from another machine?

It appears that I need to access live-codes from the same machine it is running on. Then it works nicely. But when I try to access it from another machine, it just loads forever.

LiveCodes is just a client-side only app, which can be hosted on any static file server without any configurations.

Check the self-hosting guide.

This is an example of a self-hosted app (which we are obviously loading from a remote server):

Are you trying to load the full app or an embedded playground?
Are there any error messages in the console?

Can you share a reproduction? e.g. host it on a public server and send the link.

I agree. Your link creates the same situation in which my instance fails to load (but loading works for me from your link).

When mine fails, my browser's developer tools console complains about an "asm.js type error: ams.js optimizer disabled because no suitalbe wasm compiler is available" and that loading the script from /livecodes/compiler-utils.378ddf45............js failed

Whereas with your instance it says "Successfully compiled asm.js code"

(I need to investigate how to deploy on a publicly available server.)

Can you share the project you are trying to run?

I don't have a project. Just trying to deploy LiveCodes by itself at this moment.

But I got it to work now. On a hunch, I put it behind my reverse proxy and now it is loading. So I don't know what it was - either https or a dns entry - but one of them or both together made it work.
