Backup filename contains characters not supported by Windows causing cloud sync to fail (Proton Dive)

Settings -> Backup & Restore -> Backup

Expected behavior

Backup file created to selected location

Actual behavior

Backup file created to selected location

The presence of the special characters in the backup filename causes cloud sync on Proton Drive to fail. Can the backup filename be generated without the special characters?
A usable workaround is to remove the special characters during the backup creation, it would be nice if this was not necessary.
