Roadmap

This represents the larger, bigger impact features and enhancements we have planned. Features are planned, but do not represent a commitment to develop and can change at any time.

Feel free to help us if you have any knowledge concerning the following planned features or anything else you imagine.

  • Currently only various smaller features

Not planned

  • Google/MicroG Login
  • Support for anything else than Android on mobile devices (like iOS, Linux, Android TV)
  • Direct Scraping without Piped (e.g. by using NewPipe Extractor directly).
  • Downloading and muxing media for playback outside of LibreTube
  • Intelligent recommendation algorithm to pull users into a rabbit hole
