Discuss the hal::socket API and which functions it should support.

Should accept() API be added?

My guess is no. My question would be, what would accept() return? Should it be yet another socket that also has an accept() function? This seems recursive. If accept were an API maybe it should be in a hal::socket_server interface which includes it.

The question would be, what would these APIs be used for? Maybe some sort of web server handler. accept() could be used create sockets. But this could also be replaced with a polymorphic factory function that returns a socket.
