Mac OS X Sequoia issues with Release binaries #1773

I saw this issue reported before but it seems unresolved? When dragging the release lem.app to Applications and xattr it, it ends up with:

mmap: Operation not permitted
fatal error encountered in SBCL pid 72829 pthread 0x1f0d7b840:
load_core_bytes(3,0x74b0000,0x300000000,10000) failed

SBCL 2.5.1
Lem 2.1.0
Sequoia 15.1.1

Installing from source with Homebrew + make sdl2 and curses works perfectly though.
