I just noticed this and would love to try it! Just after my Nextcloud updated to 18 automatically ;-). So I can't. But am keen to see it ...

I have done the update to Nextcloud 18 and everything still works as before. Maybe test it in a different environment.

This still appears to work in Nextcloud 18, even though Nextcloud won't let you install/enable it. Here are steps to force Nextcloud to work with this package:

1. Clone this repository.
2. Change appinfo/info.xml to be max-version="18"
3. make && make appstore
4. take the tar.gz built in build and upload to your nextcloud's custom_apps folder; extract the gz and rename the folder to be joplin (e.g. custom_apps/joplin)
5. ./occ app:enable joplin

Joplin appears to sync fine so far. Of course, test on a non-production system for a while to make sure it is actually working.

I can install it just fine on my NC18 instance but you're not able to share the notes directly on Joplin as the webDAV link is different. This makes it no different from just using webDAV instead.
