@riaankleinhans as discussed in #sig-release , we reached a consensus that this doesn't require a KEP for Code Freeze exception, so it can be closed: this will be treated as an exception for Test Freeze.

@riaankleinhans as mentioned in the Slack discussion , you should be good to go if you have all the required labels and approvals. I don't see the milestone set in kubernetes/kubernetes#127943 .
