What would you like to be added:

There are lot of components needs by kubespray , like :

  • kube
  • containered

in the list : https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/kubespray/issues/new?assignees=&labels=kind%2Ffeature&projects=&template=enhancement.md

The idea it to using the CI generate Issue/PR for update the components new version, like the https://github.com/dependabot

Why is this needed:

If there are "Auto dependency dump", it can make kubespray use newer software , and the maintainers can save time.

Regarding the kube module, I think we should instead use kubernetes.core.k8s and just ditch it. I've taken a quick look the other day, and by using the template feature of kubernetes.core.k8s (which can take several templates at once), I think we could save some execution time (with less code).

For the rest, yeah, if we could automate any "bump that version" stuff, yeah, that would be a win.
(Including the "checksums" stuff). We already have some scripts for that (scripts/download_hash.py), so it would be a matter of hooking it up in some CI.

I did not use those a lot, but note that AFAIK the .sh version is more complete on what it can do
