I just thought of this and I wonder if you'd consider it a good idea or something worth investigating.
I use local docker-based dev environments a lot, and I am mostly inside the container but a lot of time I need to run commands on the host, so I had to logout, run the command, and login. I can map this to a keyboard shortcut and/or kitty but I wondered if having an apple-touchbar kind of thing that one can configure within kitty would be a good idea. Something like configurable buttons and those can even be per location or something, like if there's a presence of a certain file?
I've skimmed through #4447 and there are some ideas and potential to explore for clicking behavior on tabs, but I probably not have the time for something like that right now, so just adding the idea here.
