Virga's suddenly stopped working

Hello

Basically, the subject title... It was working a few days ago, and I LOVE this app. It's so lightweight and unobtrusive – a brilliant utility.

• Launching Virga causes the Mac to freeze for a minute or so (audio continues to play, and the cursor is still responsive, but no clicks or keyboard presses are registered, and the screen stays frozen)
• Happens when using with both Safari or Chrome
• I don't see any error messages
• Am using macOS 10.14.6
• I'd updated to Safari 13.1.2 (14609.3.5.1.5) a few days ago – is it safe to assume this has broken Virga somehow‽

I've noticed the same... although I thought I had waited far longer than a minute. Computer is hard frozen.

I too updated Safari recently... but it fails when any browser, or no browser at all is in front. I suspect some other issue.

On another note, the youtube-dl website SSL has expired, causing problems if the update command is issued.
