Is it that only serving folks can release serving and eventing folks eventing ?

I think the goal is to have folks who are familiar with an area participating in the release. ie. I wouldn't be the best person to make a call whether we should delay/halt the release of an eventing repo if the nightly releases were failing.

Actually I would prefer more a roster that is aligned along time zones. I.e. one roster for APAC/EMEA and one for NA, and everybody should be able to release everything with an handover EOD of the first group. Wdyt ?

If we add a step were the leads sign off and then folks in the roster just do the mechanics of the release I think basing things on timezone would work well
