Did that ever come to pass? I just found out about your app and being able to roundtrip from Highland 2 to ThiefMD without renaming and unzipping the file each time would be nice.

Not yet. We're currently file system based, and we're working on migrating to "Projects", where each project can be backed by something different (text bundle, git, folder, and more).
