Fixes #232

Use named params in check_source call to deal with upstream changed function signature.

Updated mypy config to deal with the changed default behavior for implicit Optional and new(ish) annotation-unchecked code.

Existing tox/tests failed due to upstream change, now passing.

any chance this could be pushed through? The disconnect with pydocstyle is causing some sticky problems!
