This is necessary to communicate more transparently about our IT servercives.

This is doable with uptime robot but we will have to pay.

https://github.com/louislam/uptime-kuma seems to be an interesting self-hosted alternative.

You'll need to elaborate a bit more about the surface of what you want to expose and the goal.

What I understand is that, for stuff that are on this repo, we have auto-monitoring done in Uptime robot for internal use and you want to expose this. I suppose this exposure is offered by Uptime robot but is not free. That other project is a clone/alternative to Uptime robot. Is that it?

The problems are:

  • free uptimerobot features are too limited
  • no transparency for our users

The exact scope of what should be displayed is still to be specified.
