Minecraft's Note Block has many...... eh...... type of sound of "discrete" instruments, you can invoke Minecraft's world.playSound() method to play one note at a time.
If we can add custom "continuous" sounds like violin into the game, these sounds can serve as more natural sound cue for "continuous event" (like pulling the bow? falling down?).

Glockenspiel for generating from something like hash, to make player remember some data as style of sound.
