Accessing Multiple Databases

Hi,

I am experimenting with KeepassXC for the first time running the appimage v2.7.10 and the KeepassXC-Browser extension for Firefox.

I created two test databases - Database1 and Database2, and connected to them via browser extension. One database is for social media and general sites while the second database is for financial sites.

But what I noticed is that if the database tab for say Database1 in the KeepassXC UI does not have focus then those login entries are not available. Seems only one databse can be active at any one time regardless if many are successfully connected in the browser.

Am I using KeepassXC incorrectly? What is the point of being able to have multiple databases open?

Yes, that is by design. You can enable searching across all open databases in the browser settings where you enable browser integration.
