Just an FYI. Mongodb 4.4 is not supported on 22.04 and as of the latest update Omada needs to adjust thier software to accept Mongo 6.0 |

Hey @kdpuvvadi could you please update the blog post to include Mongo DB 7.0 installation for the software controller version version 5.14.20 and above? The MongoDB 4.4 is EOL now and should't be used in production. Also, with the up-to-date version of MongoDB, there is no need to install the old libssl 1.1 dependency anymore. Here is the official TP-Link KB for reference: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/3272/. Also, do you know by any chance if it can run on JDK 21 instead of JDK 17? Thank you and keep up the good work! |

Install Omada Controller on Ubuntu 22.04 & Debian 12
Previously posted a guide for installing Omada Controller on Ubuntu 20.04. Received log of requests for guide on 22.04. It’s not simply straight forward as Omada Still using old dependencies and might break some package if incorrectly installed. Reason I’m writing this here is official guides and documentation are outdated and refusing to fix them.
