Trying to use viewmode customization

The columns are added but not populated, am I missing something? Thanks

I have installed the latest version and unless I am missing something, I still get the same result:
IE: The columns are added but not populated, like the example+screenshot above.
Can you reproduce or let me know how to troubleshoot?
