Summary

When I log in into my session, the extension starts up and displays a duplicate of the groups and time zones on the people.json file.

OS and GNOME version

Ubuntu 18.04, GNOME 3.28.2

Severity

Minor

Description

Upon startup, the extension displays a duplicate display of all people and time zones specified on the people.json file (See attached file). The only way to fix the duplicate is by restarting the GNOME shell (pressing alt-f2 and entering r).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install the gnome-shell-extension-timezone extension from the GNOME extensions web page
  2. Reboot system and log in
  3. Click on the extension icon at the top-center of the screen
  4. Observe the issue

Observed behaviour

The display of people and time zones is duplicated

Expected behaviour

Each person and time zone should only appear once in the display
