The default shortcut (shift-tab) doesn't trigger Mirage. Instead, tab characters get handled by whatever widget has the focus.

Pharo-8.0.0+build.630.sha.a42bd986483df7965cac7da5431e3c42c496da11 (64 Bit), and dev branch of Mirage

I just noticed this too in the current Pharo 8. I wanted to see if Mirage could prove to be a more stable setup in the latest stable Pharo (in previous versions it seemed to exasperate the font glyph error).

Is there a key stroke that does work - I can't seem to find anything that does?

Just tested a bit in Pharo8 on Windows 10 and confirm that no shortcut seems to work.
