This repository is now made obsolete by upstream fixes in jq, in commits after jq-1.5rc1-12-gcca3e92.
No future updates are planned. Feel free to continue using it, but expect no support.
Attempt to detect and fix inconsistencies in jq's split/join behavior. See jq's issue #552 Split output array length inconsistency and jq's issue #668 join/1 should respect empty strings in input.
This is a package for the command-line JSON processor jq. Install the package in your jq project/package directory with jqnpm:
jqnpm install joelpurra/jq-bugfix-jq-552There is no usage; this repository is obsolete. Tests are left in place.
