Goal

Submit a talk proposal to FOSDEM 2027 (late January / early February 2027, Brussels).

Timeline

• September 2026: Call for participation opens (based on FOSDEM 2026 pattern)
• October 2026: Main track submission deadline (~Oct 12)
• November 2026: Devroom proposal deadline (~Nov 16)

Talk angles

• Privacy-first kitchen management: architecture of a self-hosted PWA
• Three tiers, one codebase: PGlite (browser), PostgreSQL (self-hosted), MCP (AI agents)
• Building an offline-first PWA with a custom service worker and responsive image pipeline
• MCP integration: giving AI agents access to your pantry

Prep

• 10+ months of real-world usage data and community feedback by submission time
• Polished demo and screenshots
• Clear narrative: what worked, what surprised us, what we learned
