Surface questions over a given threshold #212

I could add a dropdown menu in host mode to switch between ranking news sort (default) or top votes sort. Additionally, I could include an auto-update checkbox to disable updates. |
I actually wonder if what I really want is to "split" the sort such that questions with more than, say, 20 votes (or maybe > 20% of max?) are first and ordered just by vote count, while the remainder are voted by the current hotness score? |
That's a great idea. I prefer using a fixed vote count because if there are only a few questions, the impact is minimal either way. However, if there are many questions, focusing on the top 20 or so would work best. In either case, we shall disable auto-updates. |
I don't think we should disable auto-updates necessarily. But make them toggleable. |
Yes. Make it toggleable. |
It'd be nice if there was a way to (as a host) see the topmost questions overall (ie, just sort by votes) to pick which ones to answer. Watching the top of the list is too chaotic right now.
